One of my recent weekend viewing choices was Jodie Foster's "The Brave One". It's a fantasy, basically, because it doesn't show the audience what to do in a similar situation. Jodie's character happens to be at the right place at the right time several times in a row after being mugged and her fiance dying, to prevent the same thing from happening to other people, and not get caught.
Of course, that's good, because otherwise, if a film ever taught people the proper way to go about becoming a vigilante, what kind of society would we be in?
