Stood outside this place last night at 7pm. Not that I went to that area specifically for that. Just wanted to see first hand what the big deal was about. Even the guards outside the place were entertaining visitors with their stories. Moving on to the next street, I even saw a middle aged guy and a woman on a motorcycle asking for directions to the place. It's a phenomenon.

Analytical Contest Continued

The clamor for more puzzles like the ones given last week made me think this could be something I could post regularly (not daily - maybe every Monday or such) to keep the students' minds on their toes (if such an image is possible).

Here's lucky Puzzle #7: In Pinoy Big Brother two Sundays ago, they had their first nomination night. Each of the 12 housemates were told to vote 2 points to one person and 1 point to another person they wanted to nominate. They could also only choose among 10 housemates to vote from.

Ideally, only the top two point garnerers are nominated. But sometimes, there is a tie (even a three- or four- way tie) resulting in more than two housemates getting nominated.

The question is, what is the worst case and best case scenarios a nominated housemate could think of regarding how many housemates voted for him/her?
