Cashing In On A Good Movie

I just watched this borderline b-movie (borderline only because of the inclusion of Smallville's Lois Lane. It couldn't even capture the sense of urgency that Ashton Kutcher had in the first movie trying to get things right after he changed them, as well as having some gratuitous sex scenes (that's an incentive right there for half the guys out there to watch it - except for the last freaking sex scene, that is). It couldn't even be considered science fiction, but is pseudo, just like "The Lake House" and "Premonition".
