I'm not exactly skinny, and for some reason, a lot of my friends are of similar girth. So when we gather together and ride the bus or watch a movie, beware the person sitting behind us who starts thumping the seat.
Just one look back is enough. It's not intentional. We absolutely have no idea how menacing our silhuoettes look blocking the movie screen.
But it makes them stop and apologize. And for once, we are grateful that our mere countenance is sufficient to demand some respect.
